After Brooks Beast runner  Josh Kerr won the 1500M World Champion race, the Brooks marketing team had many rush requests to celebrate his win across all digital channels. Additionally, the team wanted to create a window display for their Seattle-based headquarters and retail store. The project had a 48 hour timeline from creation to print completion. I was given a photo of Josh Kerr running the race, and no other assets. I created the illustrations and copy in Illustrator to look hand drawn which is aligned with Brooks branding. The team requested that I remove the Nike symbols on Josh's running outfit without making it obvious since all of his other teammates had the same outfit. I achieved this by using the Brooks logo to cover up the symbol on his shirt and then Photoshopped out what the logo didn't cover, and also removed the symbol on his shorts. All stakeholders approved during the first round, and was sent to print in time. Below is a photo of the live execution of the window display.
