Hi there! I'm Elizabeth and I'm a Senior Digital Designer with 15+ years of experience working for large corporations, agencies, and start-ups. I've worked on all aspects of an advertising and marketing campaign; from web, mobile apps and responsive web, online display ads, print, branding, OOH ads, email, photography and photo editing, living room devices and social media. I'm a highly motivated self-starter with a strong attention to detail and quality. I'm used to managing and executing on multiple competing projects at once under tight deadlines in a faced paced environment.
I'm currently a Senior Digital Designer at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum working on various types of projects like branding and graphic design needs, video, email, and social media. The work has been incredibly rewarding as I get to create stories and designs that tell Holocaust stories for millions worldwide.
My design tool knowledge includes the Adobe Creative Suite, mostly using After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom. I'm also proficient in Figma, Sketch, Canva, CapCut, InVision, and Microsoft Office. I have used workflow tools like Salesforce, JIRA, Workfront, Smartsheet and Asana.
When I'm not working I love spending time with my husband and ten year-old daughter, or our two crazy pups Winnie (Weimaraner) and Rambo (Yorkie/Chihuahua). I also own an Etsy shop selling crocheted items like hats, scarfs and little amigurumi characters. Random? Yes. Do I feel like an old lady while crocheting? Yes. But crocheting is an amazing mindfulness activity while watching my true crime shows. If you're in the market for some outerwear or cute crocheted pumpkins, check out my Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheCrozone
I'm located in the Chicago area, and open to freelance or permanent remote opportunities.
