For National 'Read a Book Day' in 2024, I created an Instagram Story for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum targeting our younger 13-17 year audience with the goal of  educating them about the hundreds of amazing Holocaust books that our Museum shop carries both in the Museum and online. The book titles we featured were specifically categorized by the Museum as appropriate for their age group. I worked with our social and editorial team to come up with a compelling hook to start the story off with and engage our younger audience by using a question to start, then we showed some historical footage of younger Jewish teens reading books with some informational copy around Holocaust books, and then finished with a scrolling animation of book covers they can shop with a link to purchase. The story performed very well, and drove sales to our Museum shop. I created the last slide animation in After Effects.
